If you have ever been "ripped" off by an investigational internet business this thread is where you can inform others of your mistake/s. Please explain how the internet business "scammed" you as well as the correct internet address and or physical address. If you are a business owner and you would like to object to any of the statements please private message support with your objection.

I had left a message on this site after being thrown to here from a another website. I have been trying to find information on a deceased relative for a few months and have ran across websites that are fee based. The website is undercoverdetective.com. I now can not log into the website and there is NO recourse. Advise against going THIS route!

Hello,

We advertise our site on various investigational sites (to recruit more forum members). The site you mentioned is infact one of the sites we advertise our FREE forum.

I have looked at their product before...it seems pretty average. The search tools etc. gave me some public records on some people.

If you arrived to this site via any investigational site please be advised that we are not affiliated with them in anyway NOR endorse their products.

Without a doubt one of the most reliable public record data vendors is intelius.com - I always go with them. Very Happy

Regarding fraudulent investigational websites...had same experience with undercoverdetective.com...am trying for a refund on my purchase...website promised free searches with purchase of membership. It seems the site mostly links to other, fee for service sites. The little searchable information on the undercoverdetective site is imcomplete, severely outdated, and/or incorrect. I did a few trial searches using myself and other family members whose information I know, and got either no result or incorrect results. Wish I had seem the previous post..... Sad Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation

hmm,

No updated information? I wish you much success on getting your refund. Did you get results? I think I joined that site about 3 months ago when someone else complained a little and found a few accurate results.

Only thing I could find on myself was phone number...couldn't find marriage record, husband's traffic records just linked to Oklahoma court site, reverse lookups found no records, ex-husband's police report...got results free using information gotten on this website....couldn't get ex's to even come up on free searches....just a $30.00 lesson I guess.... Sad

I paid $40.00 for the gov-records.com unlimited services. every record I checked came back with no records found. I even tried searches on myself and found nothing and I'm a known criminal Just a warning don't waste your money. They are very hard to get a hold of with no custumer service number or support webpage. Clicbank.com is the online service provider that ran the card info and I finallly got a hold of them to get my money back. I got an email from them stating that they refunded my card but have yet to see my statement. If anyone has had good luck with a service please let me know. Stay away from GOV-records.com

I had a feeling that I would get what I paid for with Govrecords.com. As soon as I logged on I was sent to this site. I have been reading the post and now know I made a mistake. I am not going to try to get them to refund my money. I am going directly to the credit card service and tell them that these people are not for real. Maybe with enough complaints to the credit card companies theywill do something about this. (Doubt it but Iam sure I will get my money back!!!

I was just contacted by the owners of Gov-Records.com

They told me if you're not satisfied with your purchase you can contact them at the following address:
http://gov-records.com/support.php

Furthermore, you can also contact ClickBank for support:
http://www.clickbank.com

I am forced to lock this topic.

They also assured me that they get over 1500 new members daily and only a small percentage of customers remain unsatisfied. They told me that their databases are going to be updated shortly to include 95% of the US population and another large chunk of the worldwide population.

Anyways, this is DetectiveForums.com so let the detective talk continue. Smile
