I would start by calling or faxing
Briscoe County, Texas County/District Clerk Bena Hester
P. O. Box 555
Silverton, TX 79257

Phone: 806-823-2134
Fax: 806-823-2359

cpgentry welcome to Detective Forums!

It’s been many years (pre-internet) since I needed divorce information in Mississippi.
So here’s my best shot until someone from your area can help out. I would start by contacting the Chancery Clerk in the county where the divorce took place and ascertain their current policy for obtaining a copy of the file. I don’t know of any free online sites with this information, you can check if the county in question has an online site.

Below find the CHANCERY CLERK LIST http://www.mslawyer.com/mssc/chanclk.html

Sorry I wasn’t able to provide further help, if nothing else it’s a place to start. If you find an online source please post if for other member to share.

Thanks

Hello GM57,

If you are close enough, you can walk in and get them. They have to show them to you in Ohio.

IT'S THE LAW!

You can also call the Clerk of Courts in Holmes County and ask what you need to do to obtain the records.

Good luck!

Bill
