Soon we will have our own section - where you can click on your state and search for court records.
Have you ever heard of PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records)? Pacer allows users to access court dockets all over the nation.
How much does PACER cost?
See this page
What is PACER and who operates it?
See this page.
How can I get an account with pacer?
The link below explains all about pacer and how it can give you access to several court records.

We have found a decent resource for you. Please note we are in the midst of researching and developing a comprehensive database that will cover the majority of public records including vital records.
For now - here is a website where you can get your birth certificate, marriage and divorce records (dating back to 1800's). You can also look up death records.
The resource is http://www.vitalchek.com
Gm09215 - Look forward to talking to you some more! And please post back if you have any additional questions. |

If you are looking for marriage and divorce records for genealogy purposes or copies of your own records, the web site http://vitalrec.com has information on how to order these records from every county and state vital records office in the US.
If you order the records by mail, it is cheaper than vitalchek. They charge an extra fee for processing. Although, if you're in a hurry, vitalchek is usually pretty quick. |

That is very good information for someone looking in that category, I have a mom married back in the 40's never seen in person but have her maiden name and picture given to me by mother that adopted and raised me. importunate , found out she had diabetes, so far i don't, she would be 88 now. There would be five siblings never seen by me, but i got the great gift of Love
and poetry. My mom my friend is the best there has ever been and she is visiting with me, MAY I THE BIRTHDAY WE WILL CELEBRATE, will be 90. |

We are still creating the database that will have every category of public/criminal records their is. As soon as that's up - you will be able to find all of the resources you need to perform your investigation!
But for know - what kind of past does she have? Has she ever been to prison?
Or are you just trying to look up court records in general?
Just asking so I can guide you on your way. Are you trying to dig up information for legal purposes? |

Hello Jim,
Welcome to the forums!
If the subject is located in a federal prison you can search here.
Otherwise - go to this page and choose the state where his information would be posted on. In your case it would be New Jersey or the state where the offense took place. |

not so much what he did before prison, be
concerned with what happens after prison,
did he reform? See if he is getting out earlier
than expected (ie good prison record). Some people
change after prison, if he has paid his debt to
society, give him support and a chance. i have seen people that were released, then committed a
robbery and waited for police to arrest, had become acclimated to prison life. |

Jim, one of the best ways to perform a complete background criminal check on somebody would be to join one of the following companies:
Intelius (www.intelius.com)
KnowX (www.knowx.com)
ussearch (www.ussearch.com) |

Jeez - I hope you got your money back. Some large companies such as intelius and knowX have a guaranteed hit or full refund policy.
If you call (202) 502-2600 (us federal courts information) - They should further help you and tell you how you can find out what he did. |
