I have been tryin to find my uncle that my grandmother left him with some neignor's on a street where some kin folks lived but are now dead my mother is has stage 4 cancer & i'd love to be able to find her only brother we don't know his real name but we know the names of both parents she only remembers him by his nickname(boboo) my mother's aunt raised her in wv it is never talked about because you can see the hurt & emptness when he is mention we do have a picture of them together the only information that we ever got was he was possiable in ohio so is there anyway to find someone just by there birth parents name as far as we know there never was any adoption papers he was born between 1940-1942[/b] |

you can go to state police website & you can look by zipcode's or by county you live in |

Hi tinna43 you have a tricky case here. On whatever street your Grandmother left the child is the place to start. Try to find the schools back then and see if they have pictures. Maybe he looked like your mother. do any other family members know anything.
What do you mean about the zip code search!! Do you have a special zip in mind!!
Also who told you that he may be in Ohio!!

thanks for helping me there was a cousin that lived in martinsburg wv she was friend's with a neignor across the street when my grandmother would visit she lets the boy go home with people the cousin is the one that told she didn't know who they were but they was kin to her neignor she has passed away & there's noone that still livin that know anything about it me & my sister would love to find him because my mothher hasn't got much time & it would really make her finally complete she hasn't never had any family & her mother send her by train to be raised by her aunt & uncle in charlestown wv til her aunt died & a little while later her unclepassed she ended but being shipped back to some one in maryland & then put her out on street by age 15 if there was some way that i could find him by birth record from the names of my grandmother & grandfather I do know there full name is on my mother birth record |

That is a great idea JL. If her mother gets the birth certificate this whole

thanks so much I found out more on here then I have the last 30ys I looked for him I printed out form for her to fill out to get birth record only thing is she was born in winchester va so but I'm goin to apply both states I didn't ever know she could get a birth record I'll keep everyone posted It would be a dream come true to be able to find him before she passes away she has brain cancer & on chemo every week with her mother giving her away to her aunt & uncle & him being only sibling and he was taking away two she always told us she never had any family so if this could come together it would be almost like the make a wish foundation for her well Thanks to All THIS HAS REALLY HELPED TINNA43  |

That's great, make sure to file in any state you think the brother was born in and this could be done soon. I don't want to give you false hope, but don't give up hope. Remember to keep us posted and ask any questions you have.
We would all be thrilled to be even a small part of the reunion. |
