Hey LM since joining this forum I have learned a lot.
I probably think that I have learned more than I actually have ( in reality )
But that is o.k. with me. As far as changing my course towards anything other than adoption searches. That won't happen!!
It does appear interesting to me but I will never be able to have the background, experience, and knowledge that some of the members here have and I know that now that you mention it. Spy tools are avaliable
all over, Good and bad and they are in use all over. The cell phone
programs did interest me for 2 reasons 1 To protect my own computer cell phone and 2 they make it so appealing in the ads. And then I must throw in being curious.. Truthfully I am suprised that you guys stay so far on the right side of the Law I have read posts old and new and randomly which show the integrity of the people here. And that integrity
is something not common among adoption searchers. LM, WM, RM, Gary,
JL, and the whole lot of you are doing a great job for people, Maybe sometimes I wish that I knew how to help more in the same fashion
And sometimes I do feel out of place because of my limited abilities.
I do nothing but adoption searches that you guys could probably do in 5 minutes. So I am trying to pay attention and learn more in a crowd of people that could actually look down on me!! tHANX TO ALL YOU GUYS . |

Don't be so hard on yourself, CM dude!
It was just a mere 5 years ago that I only knew how to email and search for p o r n. It took a death threat to a friend of mine that prompted me to go into action.
This friend was a reporter for a local TV station and she ran the forums on the station's website. One day, she had to ban a member for his violations of the forum rules. She started getting death threats from this individual via emails.
I decided that this idiot wasn't going to threaten this drop-dead gorgeous friend and think he was going to get away with it. That ain't the Rat way!!!
The only thing I had was this guy's screenname to work with. Thru a lot of trial and error, I finally tracked him down to a forum in his hometown. It was there that I found out what his real name was, but I still didn't have a location for him.
While I was scouring through thousands of posts, I discovered that he was using a couple of other screennames. Back to searching, now armed with three screennames and his real name, I finally located the city where he was living.
I signed up for the forum in that city and sat back, only posting occasionally until I was accepted by a majority of the members. It was then that I started posting questions that lured him out of hiding.
After a couple of months monitoring this guy, I found out he was a local school teacher. A Special Educations teacher.
It was then that I started learning about public records and thru a lot of trial and error, I finally lot his location.
It was thru all of this trial and error that I learned how to search and use search engines.
Long story short, the TV station contacted him and threatened legal action against him for his actions. He has pretty much straightened up after that.
It was because of this punk that I began to learn about public records and how to search for them. I learned about keywords and how to logically decide which ones that may give me the greatest number of results.
The best advice I can give ya is this: Don't ever give up!!
Since that day, I must have logged gazillions of hours online, sharpening my skills and learning even more til I got to where I am today.
As for people looking down on ya, here is what I do. I look "up" at them and tell them they got a booger hanging out of their nose and to please blow their stinking breath elsewhere!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I'll help ya any way I can. |

As LM'S words ring in my ear, I do believe that I am fast study.
And as I said earlier I am trying to pay attention. And I am still learning.
As I learn it always dosen't get easier. I was told by one of the senior members that I should not conduct the searches myself, but to direct the people where to go to get the info for themself. Due to liability issues.
Then I found out that most P.I. services have included a clause in their searches that holds them to no responsibility. Some also indicate that they will make first contact and that if the person dosen't want to be found they will not give up the info to the client. That makes my field very hard to operate in. But I am still learning. And no I won't give up!!
To all you guys a whole hearted THANK YOU!!
Especially LM |
