My mother was watching tv the other day and she happened to catch an interview of someone from Ft Lewis, Washington and she started telling me about a man she had been in love with before she met and married my father. The romance ended after a huge argument and the man told her he had enlisted into the service and was going to Ft Lewis and that was the last she heard from him.

Knowing my mother as well as I do, I know that she still loves my father (who died 14 years ago) and I know that she is secretly lonely, but has said she will not date.

I know this is sort of strange, but I would like to see if I can trace this man down to see if he is alive (he would be somewhere between 65-70 yrs old), what his marital status is and see if I can have the two get in contact with one another (this is BY NO MEANS an attempt at playing matchmaker Wink )

Can anyone offer any advice or help of how I might find this man through his military enlistment without knowing anything about him?

Try contacting the people that did the interview. I have seen people reunited that way.
Hi mazeiyna, what kind of information do you need? Try doing a search using the search tool.

Hello everyone,

I am trying to find my Grandfather. But the information I have about him is very limited. And the information I do have I was told by my Grandmother ( Not sure how accurate they are.) I know where he was stationed in Germany in the 50's, and I also know that my Mother has a sister which is only 2 days older, and that he is or was married to a lady from Frankfurt, Germany. I tried everything, unsuccessful though. I would be thankful for any information or advice. It is my Mother's dream to find him, and I would like to for fill her dream.
