I wish I had checked like you did stevefj . I got done and paid more than I thought due to the set-up in paying . I have tried to stop the payment an hour after initiation but I have to wait for it to go through and then dispute it . Pays to check always , I got sloppy and feel so stupid . |

Yes, this web site, Australia-Records.com is totally fraudulent. I have reported them now to ACMA and I have advised my credit card company of their fraudulence. I recommend people stay away, they have no such geneological sites, and I hope they get busted good and proper. No email replies at all, no abilityt to SEND emails that you know get thru, and a total rip off.
I am glad I knew about ACMA because they will come down hard on them.
Cheers. |

[cIIolor=g reen][/color]Hi, I have never had to do anything like this before... I am an intelligent nurse, working in Sydney. Yesterday morning I decided to register with Australian-records..... the internet connection did not work, and then I saw the warning from this site. All in a matter of 10 minutes, I phoned N.A.B. about my mistake. They have cancelled my visa and I have to speak to someone Monday morning about the money that has been transferred to the company. It is $58 Australian and I now have no trust in internet buying. I think that I have been mislead and ript-off and want my money back, and also some compensation for the fact that I am unable to purchase anything by email again as I do not trust it.
For all I know, anything I pay for in Australia may not be available here.
I do not know what to do...I have now cancelled my visa and still am no closer to finding my long lost friend that I was bridesmade for and would love to see her.... before I am too weak to do anything. We used to walk together, but, in case I become too weak, it would be good to catch up soon for a walk. Where do I try to find her? |

Angelainvestigator welcome to Detective Forums a free site were member can share information on how to access various types of public records and offer investigational tips / techniques.
I always keep the words caveat emptor in mind whenever I purchase online. In the meantime please feel free to read post by other members and or ask your question leaving out personal identifiers as per forum rules. Hopefully a member can point you in the right direction.
You may want to check previous post by senior member lawmanconfidential re Australia. Use the forum search tool or go to his profile and click on "find all post" on the right side.

Hi and thanks, I was pointed to the Australian records site and smelt a rat. I did some further research and found Detective Forums and in particular these posts.
Now I not only have this place as a new resource, but I have managed to avoid losing money on a xcam...
Cheers
Leon. |

Leon welcome!
Most members are located in the US however lawmanconfidential has had some success with Australian records. You may want to email or private message (PM) him.
