Hey Lawman!

Thanks for the nice endorsement. Coming from you, that means a lot! I know you have many years of experience and it shows by every one of your posts. (EVEN IF THE MODERATOR GETS ON YOUR CASE FOR "ALL CAPS")

Anyone who doubts that should just read your blogs:
LawmanConfidential and 411Forensics

You are truly out there to help people. It is a joy and a great benefit to be able to learn from your experience. Thanks for sharing!

Keep up the good work!

Hey Lawman & Blong

Your enthusiasm and motivation is well noted in your post and PM’s as well as your ability to maintain a sense of humor. Needless to say your contribution to this forum is appreciated.

On a personal note, I’m aware of Lawman’s background and accomplishments and can only speculate on Blong’s. Both have inspired me to re-evaluate my professional standing. As a result I have decided to come out of semi retirement, ceased all pro bono and charity work, require a cash retainer from attorneys and contract all sub-rosa to Ratman. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Guys take care and be well.

Hey Watchman!

The problem with most of the folks in the business is that they genuinely want to HELP! They, (meaning you! ...and guys like Lawman) want to do everything they can to make life a little better for someone else. It is often referred to as "Rescuer's Syndrome."

One of the biggest parts of that problem is that your first thought is NOT of how much you can make or how much can you bill for. Your first thought is "How can I help?" So much for being a nice guy.

The fact is that we all need a "profession" to survive. We offer a very valuable service! People are happy to pay for good results.

How much would someone pay to find a loved one?
How much would an attorney pay for evidence that cleared his innocent client?
How much would an insurance company pay for the dirt on a workman's comp cheat?

The list can go on for ever.

In short. You deserve to be paid, and paid well for your much needed skills and valuable service. Good people are more than willing to pay for good service.

The skill and experience that you posess is hard earned. You are willing to do what most people only dream about being able to do.

My response is: Re-order a new batch of invoices, get a load of stamps, put a new ink cartridge in your printer, and advise your bank that they are going to need extended hours to accomodate all of your new business! ...and GO FOR IT!

....AND by the way.... Thank you for all that you do right here on this Forum!

Best regards,
Bill
