greenemy, welcome to Detective Forums!
Are you asking for ongoing or active investigations of criminal activities in general or a specific situation? (Not to be confused with incident or crime reports)
Is it possibly, yes. Is it likely? It depends on the circumstances, the nature of the investigation and your or the public's need or right to know as well as the agency’s policy. Are you a victim, witness, suspect or a "concerned citizen" etc?
Before this thread expands further, can you rephrase your question giving further details leaving out personal identifiers?
Personal information is anything such as: Names, Addresses, Phone numbers, Your exact location, Etc.
Thanks

Sorry I was so vague with my first question. What I'm wondering is how can someone find out if they are being investigated by the police for criminal activity? This would include phone tapping, police surveillance, etc. The criminal activity would be along the lines of receiving stolen property or drugs. Thanks again!! |

If you think you are being investigated because you are doing criminal activities, here is my advice: STOP!
If you are wondering if the police will tell you who they have under investigation for criminal activites, then it would be redundant on behalf of the police to reveal that information. |

Now adays it is easy to tapp a phone as we all know!! ( cell phones )
Most drug dealers and people who R.S.P. mostly use a cell phone at the time of the incident.. As an added benefit there is also G.P.S. Check the web if you must do this!!! Otherwise as Ratman said Stop!! whatever and stay away from all that are!!! That will keep you clean.. On another
posting on this forum you can find a picture of a real prison!!
Thanx !!
