Question Ok guys, yal have the knowledge and I need yal to tap into it for me. I need to find out if there is a statistic out there that tells you where a gun would drop/fall if a person committed suicide , say if they were standing where would the gun fall, or sitting or kneeling. I need to find this information before tomorrow if at all possible. I have been to the links provided in this forum but have had no luck finding an answer. CAN ANY OF YOU HELP ME PRETTY PLEASE WITH SUGAR ON TOP???? Embarassed

After giving it some thought it is because that is something that has far too many mitigating variables to pass a standard like the Frye test...
Larry Moe & Curly all could put the same gun with the same factory load to their heads and pull the trigger from the same position due to slight variables in trajectory the width or bend in/to their stance any intoxicants AND THE HAND GRIP etc. THE GUN CAN /COULD POTENTIALLY BE IN ANY AREA WITHIN A FEW FEET OF THE BODY IN AN ODD VARIETY OF POSITIONS MUCH LIKE THE ROLL OF A PAIR OF DICE! OR MORE LIKE A ROULETTE WHEEL WHERE MUCH LIKE A C-A-S-I-N-0 WHERE PEOPLE CAN SEE A DISPLAY OF THE LAST COLOR,ODD/EVEN & NUMBER THERE IS A MATHEMATICAL LAW FOR IT BUT I FORGET BUT BECAUSE LIKE ROULETTE IT IS TANTAMOUNT TO THE SAME THING! UNLESS OF COURSE THE GUN ENDED UP IN ANOTHER ROOM OR DRAWER OF COURSE OTHER WISE IT IS NOT SIGNIFICANT ENOUGH!

True but there must be a law of average, newtons laws of gravity something that can show where a handgun would land after a single GSW to the head of someone committing suicide. Something from all the suicides that have been investigated to give some idea of where a handgun would land from someone who's standing, kneeling, sitting, ect. There must be something to give a statistic or estimate of how guns land after that.. There must be

There is "anecdotal" information about that /those statistics I know because I have read them at one point but that's exactly what it is considered- "anecdotal!!"
I think..I know the facts (the actions by the suspects) stand by themselves and can't be un done!

Yeah like I said: "It's like the same law/rule as in roulette -I forget the name...But it is an "inconstant - consistency" so the results just that-"inconsistent!" Wink I DID LOOK AT THAT ANGEL !
