All the websites I go to only seem to seach USA where can I find a UK seach for records

I need to do a background check on a building company and the sites i find keep linking me to the USA which is no good as i need UK information

like most of this sites you end up paying some sort of fee
as for divorce records try the local register office as they do keep records when i can get more time iwill try and help you but as i have said in reply to your first post try doing a search of the forum as there is a lot of posts on your topic hope this is of help to you
