I dont need to broadcast my resume here just to prove to you who I'am. But just to give you a little bit of Idea, afterall you are questioning my username. Your experienced are good but like you I have a lot of experienced too. I have finished Bachelor of Science in Criminoloy and Luckily passed the board exam. 10 years in a service as a Police officer with the rank of Captain, I'm Just 35 years old and AWOL. If you already defused five (5) improvised explosive device. Six (6) encounters with the terrorist, with atleast 850 plus students that you have taught for anti terrorism and once awarded a heroism medal. Then I salute you!!
I hope we can help each other. Anyway thanks for your comment.[

I’m impressed with your background; you’ve experienced and accomplished more than most do in a lifetime. The majority of people have no idea what military police actually do or what an encounter with a terrorist is like other than media versions or TV. Can you take a few minutes and post an overview of these topics? Being awarded a medal is an honor and will have particular significance when you become old and reflect on your life asking yourself if you made a difference.
I look forward to reading your post.

Thanks

Hey Lawman!

Wanna expose a corrupt police department and jail?

I can give you an example right now!

Arresting a man for a nonexistant handgun and detaining him for a week instead of the standard 48 hours when no charges were filed against him.
Arresting him based on a false police report without searching his home or vehicle for such handgun to be used as evidence.
Allowing the man's wife and 2yo son to be physically threatened by the people who filed the false police report.

A jailer that will give a prisoner a can of soup in exchange for beating that prisoner with a PVC pipe.
Holding a commisary slip for several days so the prisoner cannot get food to eat because " they don't have time to get it".
Arranging fights for the entertainment of jail staff

If you want names, just let me know!

Hey Ratman

Keeping in mind August 4, 2009 is "National Night Out" an evening where law enforcement officers, business people, children, and parents all get together for a very wholesome gathering of fun and friendship do you have any plans involving the department you speak so highly about?

My family plans to hang out at Starbucks to meet the Officers ( as well as Fire, EMT and animal control and any other government employee that has wheels). I’m not trying to be facetious, I hear people complain one can never find a cop when you need one well this is not the case in my neighborhood! Wink Very Happy

I was member of the Elite Special Operations Unit of Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group, The Anti Hijacking Unit of the Philippines National Police. I got my training in CQB Aircraft Assault thru Special Air Service Regiment of Australian Army. Year 1998 when I became a Bomb Technician and Special Reaction Force at the same time. Year 2000 when I got my Crisis Response Team Training ( SWAT Training) in Central Training Academy Albuquerque New Mexico under the Anti Terrorism Assistant Program of the Department of State. Year 2001 When the terrorist attacked Metro Manila, there are 14 bombing incident transpired in the different parts of the Philippines. 6 in Metro Manila, 6 in General Santos City Mindanao and two in Davao City. Because of that, the PNP Chief Director General Panfilo Lacson ( Now a Senator) immediately deployed my team in Mindanao to protect the General Santos City International Airport. Because we are national in scope, the local Government of General Santos City asked Gen. Lacson if we can also respond to the City proper. By then. 8 Bombing incidents happened during my tour of duty. 3 were already exploded before I arrived and 5 were successfully defused. During my tour of duty in GENSAN I was invited to teach explosive recognition bomb identification in different security agency .Year 2003 I was one of the responsible for the captured of the three Indonesian National which is link to jemaah islamiah and Al qaeda network of Osama Bin laden. The same year the Philippine National Police formulate a Mobile Training Group that tends to train PNP personnel in the different parts of the Philippines and I was chose to be one of them, aside form that, I’m Also handling one subject in Aviation Security Course which is Explosive Recognition Bomb Identification. I used to teach at UPS Philippines and FEDEX Philippines with the same subject specifically about parcel bomb. I used to teach Martial arts to Air Marshall trainee in thePhilippines and I’m the Brain of Special Weapon and Tactics Operation Course (SWATOC) but was claimed by somebody after I left Philiipines. This is just a brief answer to your request. You can research all the events and those name that I mentioned to you. Try to research also the famous Terrorist in the Phillipines(atlease Two) . if you are not satisfied ,You can even call Central Training Academy to verify if they have Filipino Students for CRT last february 2000. I was only forced to answer the comment of lawman for he questioned my username. I hope this will be the last, I’am not expecting any challenge of credibility to this forum for I’m expecting that all of us here are all professionals. Thank you.

I'm not questioning your credibility nor am I going to verify your credentials. Your post left me with the impression you were a Capt. in a US military police unit in addition to having specialized terrorist training /exposure and hopefully in a position to share your expertise and enlighten members re these topics.
My military service was more than a decade before you were born and outdated. Admittedly your post did trigger some old memories and thus my comments about military memorabilia and medals. I was going expound about medals after being on both ends but now I won’t go there.
Nevertheless, you are welcome here, please feel free to post or participate in ongoing threads as you wish.

Hi Criminologist and welcome to the forum. Smile I think if you reread Lawmans post you may see it in the light of a greeting acceptance, and a very sincere offer to help in any way as well as an explanation of his experience, goals and purpose. We all have a different writing style and I am told by my kids I have none at all. Laughing When I first found the forum I made it a point to read the past posts of Lawman and et al to get a feel for the history and culture of the forum and members and through that I knew I had found a great place with great people. Welcome aboard.
