Do you know if the adoption was an 'Open' or 'Closed' adoption or any of the specific information with regards to the adoption, such as where it took place, maybe any names of people involved?

If the adoption is termed as 'Sealed' or 'Closed', there is little chance, if any, that any of the records will ever be found because the court has a blocked access to them and no matter how hard you try, there is almost no way of getting them reopened.

If, by chance, they are still 'Open', you might be able to go to or contact the county courthouse or place where the Vital Records are stored to try to have them located. There is usually about a $30-$50 charge for them to do a search.

You also might be able to contact the birthing place to see if they might be able to look up the records because they might have them stored in the basement or other facility and can try to find them. You would need an exact date or name of the birth mother.

There are also Message Boards and many websites in your web browser that you might try posting to to see if someone may have some information to help you.

Good luck and I wish you the best in finding the information you are looking for.

SORRY TO BOTHER YOU AGAIN BUT

IF I MAY ASK WHY DO YOU NEED RECORDS FROM SO MANY YEARS

IF YOU ARE HELPING SOMEONE ELSE SEND THEM TO ME

OTHERWISE YOU SHOULD BE LOOKING FOR YOUR MOTHER
ACCORDING TO YOUR BIRTHDATE
MY OPINION IS THAT THE MOTHER IS MOSTLY THE FOCUS OF ANY ADOPTION SEARCH
