I think I was scammed today

I am a disabled Veteran and I've been trying to locate a lot of my military friends for a VERY long time. I have gone through every hoop, over every hill, trying to locate them and all I got was exhausted, frustrated and pissed.
I finally gave up and gave in, and purchased Recordsarea.com, and every time I do a seach, I get sent to another site, where I have to pay more money to finally get the information I wanted. I became so Angry, that I, did something even dumber, Yep! I purchased FreeRecordsRegistry.com. Which it turned out I cannot log in ANYWHERE. And, I'm not sure, but I actually think I bought the same thing twice. Because when I followed the link, it brought to Yep! Recordsarea.com. All this has cost me over 100.00 dollars, and all I wanted was to talk to some "Friendlies".
I think this constitutes a CRAPPY day!!! Is there anyone out there that can help me.
I am waiting to hear from, Delawman and I'm hoping he'll know what I should do. But if anyone has ant suggestions I'm Open to them!! Thank You!

The same thing happened to me. I did have some luck with one name, but fortunately I had a state to reference. Otherwise, it is a scam, I think. The paths lead to another money site, which is listed as "Free".
