Hi, my name is edit, and I am trying to find my biological dad. My mom's health is very poor, and she recently told me that the man I thought was my dad, is actually not. The info I have on my biological dad is the following:Name-edit, age-approx. 66-69yrs old.,younger siblings-brother edit, and sister edit, . He lived on the 5200 or 5300 block of south edit, ave in Chicago, Il. in the 1950-60's. He joined the Marines in 1964 and was staitioned in Vietnam, approx. 1964-1966. He worked at the Chicago Tribune before and after he went to Vietnam. He possibly became a Chicago cop(but unsure on that). I have been searching for any info, I have found that name, but the age is usually off. I would greatly appreciate any info to help me find him. I do not know his birthday though. Please help! Thanks![/b]

I don't know if you ever found your father or not, but I just joined DetectiveForums today and found your post. Much of the info was edited out for privacy reasons by the site's moderator (which I can certainly understand), but I wanted to pass on a website for you to check that has not been mentioned.

The website is called PeopleData.com and it is a 100% TOTALLY FREE site that helps you find people in the US <only>. It is based on public records information and not only help you find your father, but any other relatives you might have that share that same last name.

If the person is listed, it may list a day that the information was indexed onto the site, a month and date, an address and maybe even a contact phone number.

Hope this helps.
