Need assistance for 13 yr old daughter

Need assistance. Have a 21 yr old man chatting with my 13 tr old daughter over the internet. Would not have an issue if it were just chatting as they played however, he is saying he wants to marry her, gave her his password to his yahoo account, where he sent her naked pics of himself. Have now captured chat that indicates something will be occuring in 2 weeks. He lives in Michigan and we are in Georgia.
I have his Name, address, home phone # (still lives with his parents), parents names, highschool name and graduation year. Need to obtain DOB, SS#, and DL# in case he makes a trip to Ga. to get her.
Just paid for recordsarea.com and they don't show anything on this guy.
Any ideas or help?

Hi!

I have no expertise in this area but I am a mom. If I encountered this type of situation I would immediately take all of the personal info you have amassed along with any emails, pictures (anything you can get) and go to your local police department. I don't know this but I would imagine they would contact the authorities where he is.

Also, I would check the national registry for s-e-x offenders (Megan's Law) and see if his name is on it.

Even though I am described as "neurotic" by my own child, when it comes to a child's safety it's always better safe than sorry!

I am still getting more info, as we speak as a matter of fact. Now have his DOB, and Cell #. Have learned that his parents are elderly and there are no criminal or civil records for him. Have found his myspace account , and with that...more pictures. Have learned he is in college and the name of the college.
Just wanting the details of how my daughter got his E-mail password and the legallity of the naked pic because he didn't send the pic, she went to his site with his user name and password to see it.
Once this is clarified...The call will be made.

My question is...what if she led him to believe (or even told him) she was older than she is. How can I prove it? She says she told him her age and they kept chatting, getting more friendly each chat. Where do I stand if his defense is "she said she was older"?

This all speculation of course but I'll bet your daughter doesn't know she is playing with fire. It is probably a game to her as well as flattering that an older man is interested in her. Because of his age he has the control. It doesn't matter how old she says she is - someone whose motivations are less than pure will not be concerned about her age.

It sounds as if red flags are popping up everywhere. Good luck with your endeavors......

First of all I would like to say how much I appreciate all the input given to us for this problem with our daughter and the support for the "tough love" idea that has been the source of alot of heated discussions between my wife and I, and now has been seen in a different light by my wife and the consequences of not being the disiplinarian when I am not at home.
The issue has been resolved with a phone call to the 21 year old's parents and explained the situation. To the point that the man has sent us an e-mail of appology. All evidence , including the letter of appology, will be kept in case of any problems.
This said....what the heck was the last post about? My personal , private life between my wife and I, never intrudes upon our family, or home life. Any "adult" activities between my wife and I, in no way, shape, or form give anyone the right to take advantage of a 13 year old little girl, who although confused about her hormonal needs to press the limits of what will be permitted, and what will not. What is safe and acceptable and what is someone saying what the other wants to hear for personal gain.
Our lifestyle is kept discreet and quiet between just my wife and I. I just can not see how you think that it or any of the other accusations are directly or indirectly the cause of this issue.
Again thank you for the "useful" input and look to help any that may need it.

I have a lot of respect for you being a man, & speaking-up!!I am sorry for sounding too judgemental...I am by no means a prude,nor can I throw stones...However It Burns my booty when people try to take advantage of the altruistic intentions of the forum members, not to mention anything that comes close to what this appears to touch on...the other issue I have is not only that I was/am a professional P.I. but walked a beat amongst hardcore criminals..It just so happens I just went to the retirement board this past friday..one of the bonuses of retiring so young , is not having to deal with the hustles,scams,& games ..It may be Contempt of Cop Syndrome but I get really pissed when people try to shine me on or jerk my chain...I felt perhaps I was being a little hard ...I got your private message & sent you a reply

All's well. I am sure in your quest for info on me and mine, you found my info on my military record and my 6 1/2 year stint on the force. I commend your tenacity in staying with a life that is thankless and without understanding. Fortunately there are people like you that can stay the course through all the situations. Mine met an end through the politics of superiors making wrong decisions, lives being placed in harms way, and the need for a sacrificial lamb in the officers that risked their lives that night. You have my respect and hope all works well in the new endeavor.
