How do I find an inmate waiting trial? I was told 1 yr. ago inmate was in a county jail. Now, when i try to see when the trial is or was, I get a message they're no longer in boc system or are awaiting trial in another facility. I need this info to claim grandson thru the court system. Grandsons father taken in 01 /06 to a different state by federal marshals.

Hello Dianeb50,

If Federal Marshals moved him it is quite probable he is in a Federal facility.

You can search for inmates:

Federal Bureau of Prisons

Good luck!

Thanks for your input, but I have even called the arresting marshals and been told different web sites to try to locate him. none of which I could access. They told me they can't find him either! strange??? Last info he was being held in a county jail in a small town awaiting a new trial date.

You can try calling the jail he was in. Most of the time you need the city or county of the jail. They might be able to give you some information.

Hi and welcome to the forum. You can try using the search tool for more information on the topic from other members. You might also try contacting the US Marshall's Office or US Marshall's district office. Try the link below.
